Pine Nut-Infused Homemade Brownies

Pine Nut-Crusted Halibut

⦁ 1/2 cup pine nuts
⦁ 1 cup unsalted butter
⦁ 2 cups sugar
⦁ 4 large eggs
⦁ 1 tsp vanilla extract
⦁ 1 cup all-purpose flour
⦁ 1/2 cup cocoa powder
⦁ 1/4 teaspoon salt

⦁ Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
⦁ Spread the pine nuts out on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until lightly golden and fragrant. Let cool.
⦁ In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
⦁ In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture and stir until well combined. Stir in the toasted pine nuts.
⦁ Spread the batter in the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
